Get out your running shoes and make plans to join your family and friends in The City of Rancho Santa Margarita and Pro Sport Physical Therapy 3rd Annual Healthy Community Expo 5k Fun Run/Walk and the Healthy Kids Fun Run on Labor Day, September 3rd. These events, which will take place at the Civic Plaza, 22112 El Paseo, Rancho Santa Margarita, from 7:30-11:00 a.m. are the perfect way to end summer and start fall on a healthy note.

The 5k Fun Run/Walk follows an easy path through the lovely neighborhoods of Rancho Santa Margarita. It is timed, and the course closes at 9:00 a.m. The Healthy Kids Fun Run follows a half-mile path through Central Park and around Civic Plaza. It is for children five years old and older. Participants under eight must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

After the race, participants are invited to visit the Healthy Community Expo. The purpose of the expo is to bring community members together to learn about healthy living and to acquaint them with the various health and fitness services available in Rancho Santa Margarita. The smell of hot cakes will be irresistible as The Bell Tower Foundation will sponsor a Pancake Breakfast from 7-10 am. The Pancake Breakfast will be located near the community expo booths. Each ticket purchase will include pancakes, sausage, fruit and juice or coffee. Kids tickets are $3.00 and adults $5.00. For advance ticket sales call the Bell Tower Foundation at 949.216.9700. All proceeds from the pancake breakfast benefit The Bell Tower Foundation.
